Day 390 of San Diego

My birthday is tomorrow!

Guess how old I'll be...

21!!!

It's ironic how my cousin Jaylee became 12 this year because if you switch the one and the two, you see "21." Super cool!

I'm also leaving to somewhere...

I don't know if I mentioned it in previous posts, BUT -

Guess where I'm celebrating my 21st...

LAS VEGAS!!!

I'm leaving today around noon!

I won't be home until Tuesday afternoon (or evening... I forgot) Sadly, I'll have to complete a few homework assignments while celebrating in Vegas. Yet, no worries. I'm sure I'll have enough fun.

Maybe I'll meet someone famous?

Day 383 of San Diego

HAPPY (late) BIRTHDAY TO JAYLEE! She became a twelve-year-old yesterday. The family celebrated her birthday as well as her sister's (although her birthday is yet to arrive). We ate cake, chatted, before driving home. It was a late party - 7:00 PM. I suppose that fit with the family's schedule.

For the past week, I have been busy with BIO and CES (Queer Studies). The only less-demanding class I have is P.E. However, I should start a four-days-a-week exercise routine in order to receive a well-deserved A.

I would have began such a routine yesterday, BUT...

Friday was a very, very, very gloomy Friday for myself. Besides the party lifting my spirits, prior to the party, things became frustrating...

My Friday morning seemed normal. Until I started my car... Because it didn't start. I panicked. My mom is in Canada and my dad works far from home. I don't have an extra vehicle when I need one! Thankfully, after a third try, Enrico started. Phew!

I drove to school, parked my car, grabbed my backpack and... I forgot my water bottle. I wasn't about to pay ANOTHER $1.50 for a plastic bottle containing filtered aqua. I had bought several, but they either were thrown away once used or my dad stole them. I decided I would skip P.E.

Queer Studies was leisure. When the class was over, I hopped into Enrico, he luckily started, and I drove onto the freeway. Suddenly, I remembered; "I need to buy presents for Jaylee and Elise!" Driving a wonky path to the mall (stupid GPS'), I parked, I purchased, then I drove home.

I was EXHAUSTED! I didn't wrap the presents until two hours before dad and I were meant to leave for the party. Instead, I wanted to play a new game I had downloaded. I think it's a cute game. It's called "Star Stable." You're correct! It's a horse-riding adventure game! Whoot! I am very addicted...

Nonetheless, Friday couldn't end its rampageous hate... An error occurred with the servers!!! Absolutely depressed, I complained and wailed to Mason through Skype about how horrible my day was.

A few rare moments, I was able to glitch the system and enter a server. But it would unexpectedly freeze...

I waved the white flag. It was evening. I laid down. A headache pounded in my  skull. I was clueless of how to cure my sadness.

Abruptly, I recalled the day as Friday... GHOST ADVENTURES!!! I checked if they had episodes playing and... I missed the short marathon...

I cried.

One of the worst Friday's I have experienced.

I shall survive!

Here are a few pictures I would like to share:

Day 377 of San Diego

I would have written a Saturday post, but I stayed awake passed midnight which cancelled my chances to write a Saturday post. Technically, it would have been Sunday's post - today's post.

I can't thank the Seahawks enough for a STUPENDOUS victory yesterday! My parents hosted a Seahawks party, the immediate family joined, and we cheered for our Seahawks! Chancellor was the MVP of the game. Especially after he caught the interception which led the Seahawks farther ahead. The ending score was 31-17.

Today wasn't as stupendous as yesterday. So, I'll say Goodnight.

Day 374 of San Diego

I finally exercised today!! The gym was free of orientations. I worked out for 48 minutes. It was an experience my body won't forget... I think I beat myself senseless (accidentally). I think I was too excited to begin exercising that I ignored warming up. Thankfully, I remembered to stretch after a tiring session. I had quad cramps for the first time in a long time. That didn't feel great...

Tomorrow, I'll workout again. Friday, I'll continue to workout. Next week, I'll workout for four days and keep the routine until the quarter finishes. 39+ visits equals an A grade. However, I'll probably pass 39 visits, just to be safe.

A few minutes ago, I played a bit of Alien: Isolation. What a creepy game... I was tense the entire gameplay, and I haven't even encountered an A.I. or an Alien... I'll be sure to use the restroom next time I think of playing.

HOLD ON, RIPLEY! I'LL SAVE YOU!

Day 373 of San Diego

Mason left yesterday evening... Saying Goodbye is one of the hardest things for me... I tried not to cry in front of people. Mason didn't cry until we began turning away. I wasn't teary-eyed while walking back to my car... I was practically bawling. I hastily wiped the tears in case people noticed. I felt embarrassed crying in public, but I also didn't care. I was devastated. Mason and I cried to each other the night before he left as we hesitated to sleep. However, I needed my rest because the next day (Monday), I had school.

My first day of school was intriguing. The classes I'm taking are Queer Studies, P.E., and Biology of the Human Body. My Queer Studies teacher... I love him. He is outgoing and true to what he believes in and passionate and courteous and open-minded. He may become one of my favorites.

My P.E. trainers are very cool, I like them a bunch. I'm hoping to have a personal trainer once I'm able to sign-up for one. My main reason for a personal trainer is because... I don't know what the Hell to do in a gym... I don't want to appear goofy and dumb if I use the equipment wrong.

Sadly, I haven't met my Biology teacher personally since it's an online class. Although that's a bit upsetting, the program seems easy. Quite independent. I'll have to remind myself of due dates to keep up my grade.

Today, mom, Uncle Jay, Waffles (my uncle's and aunt's Chihuahua) and I visited Snoqualmie Falls. Before leaving, I had to finish a Biology assignment about a pillbug. I remarkably found a pillbug in my front yard, named him Houdini (because he escaped the Petri dish when I forgot to put on the lid), and unharmed him while experimenting with him. Once the experimentation was finished, I rewarded him with an apple slice and placed him under the Japanese Maple where I found him.

The falls was HUGE compared to when mom and I saw it last time. Uncle, mom and I were drenched from the spray. Afterwards, we ate at a nearby sushi bar.

The sushi wasn't as delicious as Daimonji's sushi.

It looked and tasted like sushi you would buy at a grocery store. Yuck!

Besides the flaccid food and missing Mason, my week is flowing gently. There are a few bumps, but nothing strenuous.

Day 13 of Fifth Leave

Time for an update!

Mason and I celebrated my birthday yesterday since he won't be home to celebrate my birthday on the actual date. Saturday was busy! In the morning, we played video games. Around 1:00, we visited Mason's mom. I skipped eating lunch because, after our visit, we ate at Spuds. Then, we drove to Lincoln Park. Although it was very cold, Mason and I enjoyed our stroll. We recalled joyful memories and relished in the park's beauty. For dinner, we ate at Daimonji. I informed Alex and the waitress, Goldie, that Mason would be leaving Monday. They were saddened, yet hoped to see him again soon.

Currently, Mason and I are snuggling. We aren't sure what to do. I would like to play video games, but I also want to spend quality time with Mason...

He leaves at 6 PM.
