Day 70 of Florida

I'm watching Vegeta and Nappa play video games.

If you have no idea who Vegeta and Nappa are, they are two Sayians in the hit T.V. show "Dragon Ball Z" AND "Dragon Ball Z Abridged" which is a parody of Dragon Ball Z. The series is on YouTube made by TeamFourStar. Please, for the love of humor, watch that series.

Today was alright. I learned that Bryndis and her friend, Francesca, have no taste for the 90s cartoons. My heart slightly trembled in sadness once hearing them complain over Courage the Cowardly Dog and Jimmy Neutron.

Math was normal, Astronomy was interesting, and the reading lab was outrageously tedious. I hate that class... I don't NEED that class! I thought it would be good for me!

... Okay, I guess I do need the class because some of the programs are a little challenging...

WHICH PISSES ME OFF!

I should be naturally brilliant at things...

WHICH I USUALLY AM!

Gosh...

This reminds me; here's a funny video of Vegeta and Nappa playing Castle Crashers. Enjoy!

Day 69 of Florida

My left calf has been being a nuisance lately. I don't understand why. I think I'm sitting too much. I think I need to exercise more often. I'm thinking about starting P90X. We signed up with that program a long time ago. We never did the work-outs, only drank their protein drinks.

I'm a tad freaked over this pain. I don't want there to be a blood clot forming... I've heard birth control can give you blood clots in the legs. However, I'm on the lowest dose! Then again, I've never taken drugs before. I am a ginger, too. Gingers are sensitive to EVERY little thing.

Speaking of which, my allergies have been kicking my ass. There's pollen EVERYWHERE! Whenever I go to my car after a long days work, pollen paints my car!!! On the side of my front windshield, there's a pollen pile leading vertically - from top, to bottom.

Today was decent. The weather was iffy. I don't like how Seattle's weather is different from Bellevue's. It could be blustery in Seattle, but warm and sunny in Bellevue. I can never tell what to wear!

During my two hour break, I went to visit Omar. We gave each other secure hugs and caught up to all the news we've been missing from one another. He is such a nice guy. I love spending time with him. We rant over everything! In Astronomy, we watched a Hubble Telescope documentary on how astronauts fix the complex piece of equipment. That was intriguing to watch. Once home, I played on IMVU with Mason until he had to go on post.

He's been on post since 7:45... I miss him :(

My depression has been getting a little lopsided. I don't know when I'll suddenly become emotional. So, I've made an appointment with my therapist.

I'm also going to call in for a doctor's appointment to see why my leg has been bothering me. Better safe than sorry, right?

Day 68 of Florida

Again, nothing happened.

My parents came home around 5. My dad qualified for the Boston Marathon. He'll have a year to prepare.

This morning, approximately 3:30 AM, I was awakened by (what sounded like) Airsoft gun bullets. Then, came the yelling of a woman. She was hysterical. At one point, I thought I heard her shouting for help and for somebody to call the police. I wanted to call the police BEFORE I heard that! I was petrified! I didn't want to go downstairs and see what was brewing.

The yelling continued until after 25 minutes. The sound of a Firetruck came down our hill and parked in front of our house. The truck stayed for a good half hour. Finally, everything was settled. I got to go back to sleep again without worrying about my life.

That's it! Mason and I are... okay. I hope things work out by themselves.

Now, here's a picture of my friend Alex doing a backflip:

Day 67 of Florida

Depressed...

Don't want to talk...

I did nothing today... Stayed in bed... Watched movies... Played on IMVU... I was alone the entire day because my parents are in Oregon, running a marathon. I won't see them until Sunday evening...

Mason and I are bickering... constantly... I want a break, but I know he won't agree to it...

There... I'm done for today...

Now, here's a picture of my friend, Scott's, gold die. Vuala...

Day 66 of Florida

I'm a little speechless...

No, I didn't have a nightmare last night (Thank God...) But I did wake up unhappy.

My mood was doing SO well for this month! Until things with Mason and I and small unfortunate sorts got out of hand...

I'm discouraged. Close to corrupted. However, I must keep going.

Shockingly, this morning, my Bookmarks came back on my iPhone. I... can't explain the reappearance... yet I'm glad it happened.

Math was boring. I got a 49/50 on my math test. Astronomy was entertaining as we went through the stars to find hidden galaxies. And my reading class was bland... Like always.

During my 2 hour gap in between classes, Bryndis and I hung out, once again, at our infamous spot. We call the spot "Bodacious Wall" since we lean against a wall on a grassy hill. We wanted the name to sound badass. I think it sounds pretty badass, if I do say so myself.

Around the end of our free-time, we began drawing Disney characters. She drew the main girl from the movie Brave and I drew baby Minnie Mouse.

That is all.

Day 65 of Florida

I had a GREAT day until being scarred by the news of a YouTube video floating around on Facebook. My boyfriend didn't know what "not telling details" meant, so... I'll pretty much sum up what happens in the video. Firstly, I'd like to announce that the video has a picture of a woman wearing a pink shirt lying or sitting on the ground. I haven't seen the video, I haven't even heard of it, but that's the description Mason had given to me. The video is about a man murdering his wife. Please, to save your sanity, don't watch it.

Unfortunately, with the vague details Mason told me, my imagination has gravely scarred me without the process of watching the video.

If I have a grueling nightmare tonight, you all know why.

Before I get to the good parts about my day, I must ask; has anyone's iPhone deleted the Bookmarks you saved on Safari? Just... spontaneously?? As if there's a glitch?? I don't know what would cause that! The only explanation I have is me waking up, in a trance-like state, and deleting them...

Why would I do that, though???

The other thing that irked me today was my reading class program. This program guides your reading abilities, trying to have you read faster and faster in each lesson. Well! The level upped and the program added in a new FEATURE! It's called Pre-Reading. That crud will turn you puzzled in a matter of seconds... You couldn't read what was being shown on the screen! The text flew by like lightning! I was dumbfounded on what to do! So, when I got to the questions, most of the answers I chose were wrong because I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS READING...

I despise going from a champ to an average Jane...

Now, time for the good parts.

The sun was BEAMING! The weather was WARM! And during the 2 hours of not having class, my Astronomy buddy (Bryndis) and I hung out on campus. There was a voting convention happening. A DJ played upbeat music; there was free BBQed food; the place was PACKED; some people did a flash dance and then there was this cool African Arts club that came out, showing off their neat skills with these ancient-looking instruments and sweet acrobatic slow-motion fighting skills. I took some video. I'll see if I can upload it later.

Bryndis and I were accompanied by another girl, named Alex (who is in my math class and I talk to her every day *we sit next to each other*) She stayed with us until her English class began. Next, we were accompanied by Bryndis's friend, Francesca. She stayed with us the entire time before Astronomy started. We had fun! We got a bit burnt, though. But, hey, it was worth it!

I just wish the mood had stayed...

Day 64 of Florida

My day was crap.

I don't even want to talk about it, but I know you readers would like to learn what happened to a 19 year old woman on her adventures in college... Let me begin:

SUMMER'S NOT GETTING ANY BRIGHTER:

You remember Summer, right? Well, if you don't, please go back and read up on her details. The details help you see how snobbery this 15-year-old-stuck-in-a-30-year-olds-body ticks.

A month ago, this gentle lady (she looks to be in her early 40s) named Candice asked Summer, after class, if she could not blurt out the answers while others were still working. Summer shrugged off the idea - in one ear and out the other - before muttering, "Yea..." and went off doing her own thing.

Today, Candice AGAIN stood up to Summer. During class, Summer kept arguing at the teacher about a certain way she was solving problems. Summer wanted to make SURE her way of solving problems was also acknowledged... However, Summer was disrupting the class and the teacher's teaching. So, being the ballsy woman that she is (who is speaking for every other student in the classroom, including me), Candice turns around, asking Summer, "Could you please not speak over the teacher?" Summer, showing her TRUE identity, replies back, "I was talking to the teacher, not you." Being awesome, Candice responds perfectly: "Well, you can talk about that outside with the teacher later." And that was that. Summer did a snooty growling exhale under her breath as class continued.

Dude, if I was in an enough pissed state, I would have bashed on Summer horrendously... I probably would have started a fight! But who knows... Never got into a fight before. Yet there's still time... >:)

SUNSHINE BLUES:

You know how you're alone in the world and when you walk around during a gorgeous, sunny day, you can't help but notice all the lively people who are having a GRAND time?!

And you know what YOU'RE doing?????

None of what the COOL kids are doing!!!

I had to feel like that today!!! ...

People were dancing, playing football, tossing a frisbee, listening to music, playing guitar, having a study group out on the grass, sunbathing - it was agonizing while I slowly trudged my way to Astronomy...

ANRY ASTRONOMERS:

In my Astronomy class, there are these three specific people whom drive me nuts... There's a guy who acts like a hot shot. I wouldn't doubt if he came from a private, rich high school... Then there's a blonde girl who I BELIEVE has no clue what's happening during the class. And then there's another girl who talks terribly loud, is over-dramatic with everything, and uses the word "like" after every third word...

Two things occurred to two separate people; from the blonde and the blabber mouth.

1) Because the blonde is oblivious to what's being taught in the class, she asks questions that have been answered seconds ago. Nonetheless, this girl who sits in front of me APPARENTLY didn't hear the blonde say her question. So, a second later, once the blonde's inquiry was answered, this other girl asks the SAME... EXACT... QUESTION... After HER question was answered, I heard the blonde scoff, "I just ASKED that question..."

2) In the class, we're not supposed to use technology unless we've gotten permission. We were handed these cheap spectacles that allow you to see the rainbow's colors. We were doing a class experiment on wavelengths - we would look at a light through the eyewear and try to figure out what colors, that were being refracted, were showing. Afterwards, the lights came on. The class was able to keep the eyewear. The loud mouth decided to be curious. She whipped out her phone (or some electronic device) and began looking at the light through the spectacles. The teacher busted her, started going over to where she sat and asked for the loud mouth to give her the device. The girl was confused! In an instant, she defended herself, using her obnoxious vocals to explain how she was using the eyewear to experiment with the light of the device. The teacher played it off cool, letting the loud mouth have her way, but there was a significant tension in the room... I hate significantly tense moments...

The other stupid things that happened aren't special enough to be written in this post. But I assure you, ladies and lads, this day is STILL continuing and even though I was safe at home, crap was STILL being flung into the fan and spread all over...

Tomorrow... you better be a good goddamn day or I will FIND you and KILL you...

Or, you just won't get hugs all week long. There. Threatening enough for you????
