Day 324 of San Diego

I had no idea what we were learning in Math today...

Compound Interest equations...

Yesterday, we learned about Simple Interest. That lecture was - shall I say - quite SIMPLE!

But today's lecture turned to the satanic. I think I would've understood it more IF the teacher didn't act as if we already knew the formulas... I don't blame him. He's too much of a sweet teacher to blame him on excess.

ENGL was... okay... Our teacher had us tested on our abilities to write an emotion without saying the emotion. If I felt sad, I wouldn't write in my essay "I was sad." I would describe BEING sad for my reader to INTERPRET that I am sad.

Lyrical essays don't play around.

You better know a bit of poetry before thinking you can describe the color red without saying, "That car is red."

The struggle is real.

I'll end this post by posting a hilariously cute picture of Indigo. Tonight, as I tried to feed Indigo two more crickets, I couldn't open the cage door because another cricket decided to rest on the door. I poked at the mesh to force the critter to move, and do you know what he did? He jumped on Indigo's face. Do you know what Indigo did? Nothing whatsoever.
