Day 134 of Florida

Happy almost Fourth of July!

Anybody have plans?

I do.

Tomorrow, the family is gathering at my place. I think we're BBQing and lighting off fireworks. My parents and I haven't purchased fireworks. Yet. I don't know if there'll be much to buy tomorrow. I'm hoping my aunt and uncle bought a large package as well as a few other members buying miscellaneous firecrackers.

After the fourth, we're packing up for the Lake Property! We'll be staying there from Friday to Sunday. The grandparents claim it'll be a hot Fourth of July weekend. That's what I'm looking forward to.

In the mean time, I'm Skyping Mason and having a hoot with Fang. Mason and I want to try an all-nighter tonight. But, he says his computer will die in an hour... He doesn't want to stop playing video games to move somewhere with an outlet. That's okay. We can still text. Or call. Whichever works best. I'll miss his handsome face, though...

Diana is doing fine, by the way. I still have her in her recovery center.

My mom came home today from a long two week business trip. She's been relaxing all day.

Yacare Caimans, Brazil
Barely eight inches long—a bite-size snack for any keen-eyed jabiru stork that happens along—these two-week-old caimans float among water grasses on hot afternoons. If trouble arises, they issue a distress call and nearby adults rush to their side.
