But I'm home and I do have Internet and service. I'm glad to be talking to Mason again but I'm not too happy that I'm able to get Internet. I have this compulsive want to get on the Internet and do SOMETHING. Anything! Some days, I hate it. I wish I could simply focus on my story. But, no. I "must" see what's going on over the web.
Since the Lake Property brings me peace, I'll tell you what happened last weekend while I was there with my family. I hung out, sunbathed on a floaty in the lake (the weather was warm and the sun with shinning), I stargazed (saw the Milky Way spiral arm for the first time. Such clear nights) and we watched neighbors set off fireworks.
I worked on my Jeff the Killer remake, too! I got some pages done. I'm proud of myself!
But you know what I'm not proud of myself in? Not realizing how awesome box seats are at a baseball game...
My dad had two tickets to go watch The Mariners play The Red Sox (We beat The Red Sox, by the way) My period was too heavy for me to leave the house and be far away from a restroom. So, I told my mom to go with dad. They deserve husband and wife time together anyway.
When they got home, they told me all about how great SUIT seats were!!! If I knew they were suit seats, I would have gone!!! The word SUIT would have been enough! The parents told me how they were escorted down a hallway to their suit (number 26; our lucky number) and had FREE FOOD!!
Goddamn it, right?
Very well then, eh?
I hate periods...
