I had way too much homework. I thought today was going to be easy since I only spent two hours learning random crap. Remember, I have my two hour class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Which also reminds me how much I despise Mondays!! But like I was saying, it wasn't an easy day! Philosophy was one giant lecture, and math was almost a waste of time.
Right when I got home, I focused on homework. I went to my PHIL class's page to find what was due today or tomorrow. Well, before I started that project, I read a long "essay" on philosophy and its history, etc. It took me an HOUR to finish reading it. It was unbelievably boring! I thought I was going to fall asleep as I dragged my eyes through each sentence! It was TORTURE! After reading the "essay" (That's what my teacher called it...), I looked up PHIL homework. Turns out, we haven't learned the stuff that's due tomorrow. I guess I'll have to wait until the next morning to see what I'll be struggling with in the evening, eh?
ENGL homework wasn't too nasty. I had to read a short story and reflect on it. The story was awful (in the sense of how badly it was written. Yet I think it was written by someone famous... So, if that crud can be published, I'm sure MY stories will be published in a snap) but the reflection was simple. It had to be at least 350 words. I did a little over 500. Haha. :)
It's pretty late for waking up at 7 AM and having restless sleeping problems. I should go crash. I'll write tomorrow.
Bearing the Changes |
"A polar bear peers up from beneath the melting sea ice on Hudson Bay as the setting midnight sun glows red from the smoke of distant fires during a record-breaking spell of hot weather," writes Paul Souders, who submitted this winning picture to the 2013 National Geographic Photo Contest. "The Manitoba population of polar bears, the southernmost in the world, is particularly threatened by a warming climate and reduced sea ice." (By: Paul Souders)
