Before meeting a duck, I learned math. Before math, I woke up feeling like smashed poop. I had better sleep last night, yet it still wasn't the greatest. I might have to take medication tomorrow night to fall asleep solidly. I'm waking up early on Saturday because I want to take up running (My goal is to run Disney in August). And since my mom and dad are in a walk/run group, they invited me to their meets. The only troublesome thing is... a girl who's also on the team has some sort of ADD/Down Syndrome/Super Hyper disease. You can't understand her because her voice is shaking too much over her random adrenaline. Yikes. Not looking forward to that.
After math, Bryndis wanted me to help her with taking pictures for her photography class. I said Sure since I don't have Philosophy until an hour later. I hooked up with Bryndis at the roundabout, we crossed the street off of campus, and entered a nearby park. The fog turned out to be a really neat fixture on the fields. We took pictures with a baseball bat and ball while also goofing off. I wanted to skip Philosophy, but I'm glad I didn't. I need all the information I can get from that class in order to successfully pass.
When we started leaving, I found myself drawn to this pond. Ducks swam in the distance. Except for one. I walked to the edge of the cement walkway, telling Bryndis I was going to touch the duck. As I went down a dirt slope, coming closer to the duck, the duck decided to get out of the water and walk up to me! Stunned, I stopped and knelt. I didn't know whether ducks attacked or they are just curious. So, I held out my hand, waiting for the duck to come up to me, but he stayed put. Unless I started walking towards him. It was hilariously cute! Each step I took, the duck would slowly go forward as if he wanted to meet me at some point.
Yet I chickened out in the end. I didn't want to scream like a girl because the duck attacked me.
I left feeling bad I didn't touch a duck. Next time, though. Next time.
That's it! My day was okay. Came home, played on the computer... Now I'm here.
Here's the picture of the pond the duck was in:
