Day 55 of San Diego

I guess everyone's upset over Sherman blowing up on television about what Crabtrea... Crabtree... Crab guy said to him. I watched his rant on YouTube. I couldn't completely understand what Sherman was yelling, but I heard the announcer lady ask, "What did he say to you?" I'm assuming Craboak pushed some buttons.

I understand where people are coming from. Sherman shouldn't of exploded on television to get his feelings out for what Crabevergreen said. There's billboards spreading across the nation with Sherman's face in mid-scream and the caption "No class" underneath. Hopefully Sherman learned his lesson - don't have a temper tantrum on live television or you'll become famous in the way you weren't wishing upon.

Today was cool. Math was INTENSE. We learned exponents. It was review for me. I would never forget exponents... Those dirty, rotten THIEVES.

Why are they thieves? Yea, that's a good question...

I was able to talk to my math teacher, Hugh, this morning. I had a question on what addition means when dealing with exponential equations. He's a neat guy! I would totally hang out with him after class if I didn't have Philosophy. I swear he's in his late twenties. I wouldn't go as far as thirties, though. However, I'm not going to get myself into an awkward situation with Hugh telling me to go find friends my own age. I don't think he would blatantly SAY that, but I think he wants to keep his relationships with his students a student-teacher relationship.

I've already had a lot of unnecessary put-downs by teachers whom I befriended in the past i.e. Daniel.

Actually, I was thinking about him today. I was thinking about over the summer, I would go on a quest to find him and finally get our closure. Yet I highly doubt that's ever going to occur. It's as doubtful as seeing Daniel moseying about the street and I HAPPEN to bump into him. But, I do hope for it.

It's been a while since I've thought about him. Every blue moon after my period cycle, during my hormones's rampage, my memories of him will stir and cause me to remember what he did. Well, what he allegedly did.

I have TOO many questions to ask him. Some I can't even fathom thinking about... I can't even write them out.

Enough of this emotional garble! Let's continue with my day:

Philosophy wasn't too bad. But before Philosophy was the awesome part.

I WAS SOCIAL!

Yes, you read that right! Two dudes started talking to me today. Like... out of nowhere. After talking to Ali (a guy I know from ENGL 101) and his friend, I walked to the cafeteria for some brunch. A guy bouncing a ball noticed my beanie and asked, "Is that a Gears of War hat?" This same guy came up to me a couple weeks ago, wondering if my Alcatraz beanie was a reference to Harry Potter.

I told him, "Yes it is." (He was correct on that one) We talked about Gears of War for a little bit, how the Horde mode was rad, before parting ways. When I got into the cafeteria, buying my brunch, I paused at a garbage can to put my chip bag in my backpack. This guy, who was randomly chilling next to the garbage can, started up a conversation with me on egg-rolls. Then we talked about college and how our quarters are. Afterwards, I said goodbye and left for Philosophy.

I came home, did my homework, took a shower, and goofed off on IMVU.

TTFN.

Neighborhood Masterpiece
Like a presiding spirit, the cathedral—duomo in Italian—of Santa Maria del Fiore keeps watch over the streetscapes of Florence, including this block of Via dei Servi, a few hundred yards northeast of the church. (By: Dave Yoder)
