Day 301 of San Diego

I was looking forward to typing a post on the 300th day... But college life knows how to stop that from happening...

Yesterday was a very busy day. My parents and I did not visit my Uncle Jay, Aunt Jill, and all of them at hunting camp. We decided to drive to Salish Lodge first before backtracking to the North Bend Outlet.

Visiting Salish Lodge wasn't only interesting, it was neat to view the magnificent Snoqualmie Falls. The weather wasn't as gorgeous to add to the beauty, but I snapped a couple decent pictures. My parents had a fabulous time seeing the Salish Lodge up close considering their odd obsession with the 90's TV show "Twin Peaks." Yet I was quite baffled at Salish Lodge's quality. Sure, it is a fancy place. But when I used the restrooms, I instantly became disappointed. There were only TWO STALLS in the women's bathroom. When it was my turn to piss, I realized - after shutting the door and claiming the stall mine - that I chose the wrong stall... My stall had a teeny, tiny, thin slice of toilet paper left dangling from the roll. I couldn't have a satisfying wipe. I had to dab. Next, was the sink. I didn't know how to use it for a solid five seconds. And once I began using it, I gave my hands a first degree burn! ... Not literally, I don't think... But my hands were as red as a cooked lobster when finished washing off the soap.

Visiting the North Bend Outlet was a lot funner. I bought a ton of new clothing items. Mostly shirts. But I also found jeans that weren't SKINNY JEANS!

Whaaaat? Companies haven't abandoned Boot Cut?

THANK GOD!

I love you, GAP! You're my savior!

My parents and I spent several hours shopping at the Outlet.

It was a little humorous when my parents followed me into shops like Hot Topic or ZUMIES. I thought they would feel a bit outdated, if you know what I mean. However, they found themselves right at home. Even my mom helped me pick out cool sweatshirts in Hot Topic.

Once our grand adventure was over, we drove home in a wild lightning storm. Apparently, we missed out on a lightning storm occurring around our neighborhood! Mom announced people on Facebook were blowing up the stream talking about a 1) possible Waterspout and 2) crazy amounts of lightning strikes. I was hoping for a lightning storm, too!

Anyway, I need to finish some homework... I don't know if it's due tomorrow during class or due tomorrow online before midnight.

I'm wishing upon a star that it isn't due until midnight.
