Day 78 of Florida

Aaaah... I'm so sleepy! I'll try my best to stay focused on this one post so I won't stray away and possibly become bored and fall asleep.

I will first announce that my morning commute was awesome. Not only did I see a sick ass Ferrari, but 10 minutes later, I saw a DeLorean. The sun wasn't even OUT yet!! I suppose they checked the future forecast and noticed it was going to be sunny. Sadly, I forgot to check the future weather report and decided to wear a t-shirt... I was smart enough to wear pants since the morning was cloudy.

I hate it when it's really cloudy out but it's also super bright. You're unsure of whether you should wear sunglasses and look strange during a cloudy day, or not wear sunglasses and burn your retinas. I forgot my sunglasses AND a coat. I shivered and squinted all day long.

Today was interestingly ironic. I recognized that the mascot of our college (a bulldog) is the same as the Marines'. How crazy is that? The second ironic thing that occurred was when Bryndis and I were hanging out in the noisy student lounge. There's a piano near the stairwell and someone was playing it (Bryndis and I believe it was this irritating kid in our astronomy class) I told Bryndis, "If this guy plays Phantom of the Opera, I'm going to FLIP" and WHAT DO YOU KNOW! The guy begins to play the theme song of Phantom of the Opera. Personally, I think he heard us. We were pretty close to the stairwell. The third ironic thing happened when I was walking towards my car. Once I was close enough, Enrico began beeping as if I was unlocking him. Well, I didn't have my keys. They were in my purse in my backpack. I think what was happening was the heaviness from my laptop hitting my purse precisely to where my button would receive just enough of pressure to set it off. For a second there, I thought I had the Force ;). My fourth and final ironic event was while I was at home. Trey, a neighbor's cat who constantly visits us, visited me as I walked towards the front door. I looked down at him and saw a tag. I read it. The tag said, "My name is 'Trey.' I belong to the Kennedy's." Then, there was the address and phone number. Also, a side note stating, "Please don't feed me."

Oops.

THIS occurrence was ironic since I went to a high school named Kennedy.

That's where the irony ends.

I now should go and study for my astronomy midterm. It's tomorrow... I'm not looking forward to it... Wish me luck!
