Day 86 of Florida

Hi, Mason.

This post is dedicated to you because you fell asleep on me. I'm a little upset, so I don't want to continue my story over the phone since I know you'll just fall asleep again.

For the rest of my readers, my day was highly eventful. Here is what happened:

I drive up and down this giant hill to either get home or get on the freeway. Today, traffic was jam packed. When I got to the bottom of the hill, I saw cop cars and officers guiding the traffic. As I got towards the exit to head on the freeway, I looked over and there was a small semi-like truck tipped on its side. I hope the driver is okay.

During my 2 hour break, I hung out at the Bodacious Wall. While I waited for Bryndis to join me, a dude with a pick-sign popped out of nowhere and began protesting about Jesus. This Jesus freak talked about how on Judgement Day, we should redeem our Sins and learn that if we aren't on some Holy list, we would be sent to Hell. He stated he didn't want to judge anyone, but of course, his entire speech was based on judging people by the way they live...

A security guard went up to the man and began chatting with him. I said to myself, "About damn time somebody threw the Jesus freak out!" Until the security guard shook the guy's hand and left...

I wondered if the protester was from a class, doing a project, or he was in fact some random guy protesting and the security guard let him.

A couple people would record their friends messing with the protestor. Once Bryndis joined me, we made fun of the dude from afar.

I must say, that new experience was awkward...

While watching the preacher preach, I recognized one of the guys in the crowd. He was the Grammar Nazi from my first quarter Italian class... I despise him... I told Bryndis about him and even she said he looked like a douche-bag; which he is. So, Bryndis and I made up a character based on the Grammar Nazi's douche-bagness. The character's name was "D-Man" with his sidekick "Motor Dick."

How did we come up with Motor Dick? Well, as Bryndis drew D-Man, a guy on his Moped drove through the walkways. I think he was taking his girlfriend to class... Bryndis and I were so astounded, we decided to make that random douche-bag D-Man's sidekick.

Afterwards, we created the Super Hero - Monocle Man. His sidekick was Good Guy Greg; based off of the meme "Good guy Greg." I'll be sharing the drawings in this post. They're too awesome to leave out.

When astronomy was over and I strolled to my reading lab class, I noticed that the protestor was still at the same spot from 2 hours ago!!!! He was there for 3 full hours!!!

Some people really are dedicated to getting their point across...

Another hour passed and I was done with school. Once at my car, I watched a butterfly fly around the Toyota. He landed on Enrico a few times. I got to take a picture of him and a part of what the inside of his wings look like. As I grabbed my keys out of my purse, I felt the faintest tap on my back. I turned to peer over my shoulder. I jiggled my shirt and the butterfly flew off from my back. The little guy and his fiends LOVE my car!!! Maybe because of the heat Enrico radiates? Or because Enrico is so shiny. :)

During my long commute home, a homeless man (who I drive by every day) was waving to traffic. I decided to be friendly and give him a nice wave back.

That would be all for my day! How eventful was yours?
