Day 80 of Florida

You know what one of my pet peeves is that involves the military? What I don't like about most of the military's men and women are their attitudes towards other branches.

I don't look at the different branches and say, "HEH! The Marines are so much braver/smarter/more awesome." All I see are courageous men and women doing a job I would never consider doing in my entire life. They are honorable; they help protect our nation one way or another.

Anyway... I skipped school today! I decided to take care of Indigo. Mom and I bought Indigo a bigger cage. We also bought crickets, a cricket home, a few more accessories until putting the little guy in his new home. He loves it. I'm glad I read the books on how to become a Chameleon expert!

Tomorrow, I'll be taking him outside in the sunshine. He'll still be in his cage, of course.

This afternoon, mom and I took Indigo and his home outside for some fresh air. He wasn't completely in the sun, but it was warm enough. We placed crickets inside his cage for some meals. And what do you know... he started eating!!! He ate two crickets and a big, fat Mealworm. I was a proud mother!!! I was so worried that he wouldn't eat for DAYS!!!! Yet he finally ate. I'll see what goes on tomorrow :)

But right now, it's time to rest. Goodnight, everybody.
