FIRST!
Mom and I woke up at three in the morning to finish our packing. Once done, dad drove us to the airport and we hopped on a plane. Two hours later, we made it safe and sound to San D.!
When we rented a rental car, mom and I picked up Mason. I was absolutely... excited doesn't even suffice!!! I rushed up to him, hugged him, and told him how amazing it was to see him after four months. <3
Mason and I hung out at the San Diego zoo for... umm... a severely long time. I'm not sure if it was four hours or ten. Yet we visited each section. We didn't get pictures of each animal, but I definitely filled my camera roll!
After that, we walked to me and mom's hotel.
MASON IS SPENDING THE NIGHT!!!!
For dinner, me, Mason, mom, a few coworkers, and mom's boss went out together. I haven't seen my mom's boss in FOREVER!!!! It was awesome to see him again!!!
When we went back to the hotel, something horrible occurred while we were in the elevator. Now, I have a horrible fear of elevators... I fear that the elevator will malfunction and DROP, killing us instantly... Well, abruptly after we got into the elevator, we began hearing an alarm... When the doors opened, letting off another man in the elevator, we saw flashing lights. Then, an announcer says, "The fire department is on their way." That's when I FREAKED. The blood rushed from my face... The anxiety shot into my brain and threw me dizzy within a matter of SECONDS. I wanted to run out of the elevator as soon as possible. But my mom kept saying, "Stay in, Payton. Hold Mason's hand. Don't pass out, Payton." Thankfully, we got to the main floor without difficulties. I had to sit. I needed to gather the blood back to my brain.
Once the announcer claimed the fire alarm was false, we all rushed to our rooms and called it a night...
So, I'm calling it a night finally!! Here's a few picture from the plane trip to the zoo!
