Day 145 of San Diego

A girl in my SOC class blacked out today. We were watching a video of a woman who was obsessed with breast implants. The video showed clips (not too gruesome, in my opinion) of doctors doing surgical procedures. Suddenly, after a few moments, I heard a thunk on the floor. Thinking nothing of it, I kept watching the video, until everyone began asking, "Jessica? Are you okay?" and people began turning around to see what happened. This girl was lying face-flat on the floor. When she came to, she asked, "Did I pass out?" She had no idea what occurred to her! Everyone, even the teacher, made sure Jessica was okay. They opened a door to let in fresh air, we ended the video, and let Jessica have her space.

Besides worrying if Jessica was okay, my whole day was simply dandy. I hung out with a lot of friendly folks in between classes. I first hung out with Dean, a student in my ENGL class, before class started. However, once walking to class, we saw a notice on the door saying...........

The class was canceled.

If I knew this prior, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN EXTRA HOUR OF SLEEP.

I should check my e-mail more often. Maybe the teacher emailed us to let us know that... well... there wasn't any class today.

Thankfully, Dean wanted to chill with me. We hung out in the computer lab and chatted. When he had to go to class, I followed a few minutes behind him to relax in the R-building. But as I walked up a straightaway, I noticed someone else familiar..........

IT WAS ALEX.

I hadn't seen Alex in, I think, several months. At least since Christmas. We hugged each other and I followed him to a bus stop as we talked about what we missed. It was great to see him!

Once he got on the bus, I left towards the R-building. But I received a text from Dean saying, "My other class was canceled." We decided to hang out again. I hung out at ANOTHER bus stop since Dean decided to just head home for the day. We talked about Chat Roulette and other silly insane things. When the bus arrived, we said Goodbye, and I left for SOC.

After SOC, I hung out with Bryndis. We hung out the whole hour until I had to sit in NUTR class and act like I was paying attention. Yet instead of jotting down notes, I had to write answers on a printed project that was due today. The project was eight pages long. Luckily, we have four people in our group. Each person was assigned two pages. We didn't print the pages out (because one of our group member's was generous enough to print everything out herself). We wrote our answers on a separate piece of paper before bringing them to class the next day (today). It was frustrating to rewrite everything. It was frustrating in general to have an eight paged project - that had answers nobody learned about - that was due in under three days...

Oh... And... I must do this before I leave...

HI, MOM!!!!! THANKS FOR READING MY POSTS!!!!! SUPER KIND OF YOU!!

Hugs and kisses xoxox.
