Day 141 of San Diego

My day was really fun!

Except at 2 AM in the morning...

I was trying to Skype sleep with Mason, but my Internet conked out around midnight. It was the most frustrating two hours of my day... I restarted my computer, I restarted Skype, I tried Skyping on my cell phone... Nothing was working! I fled into a panic, freaking out that I would spend the night in my creepy house ALONE, and told Mason I was fleeing to my grandparents' house. I called my grandma, she answered, I told her the problem and she let me spend the night.

When I woke up at 8:30, I felt better knowing I was with people. I joined my grandpa in the living room, watching news. Once grandma woke up, we cooked breakfast. A couple hours later, after hanging out with my grandparents, I had to leave for home to turn on Indigo's lights and check on the animals.

Instead of heading back, I chilled at home. Around 2 PM, my aunt Jill texted me wondering if I would like to dye eggs with her, uncle Jay, cousin Jaylee and Willow. I agreed right away. At 4, I arrived at my aunt and uncle's house. We dyed eggs together for an hour and a half before I left, needing to feed Angel.

I planned to have dinner with the grandparents today. When I was finished feeding Angel, I drove to grandma and grandpa's. We had a delicious dinner! Meatloaf and a baked potato. YUM!!!

I don't think I'll spend the night with my grandparents tonight. I want to Skype sleep with Mason. Tonight will be the last night for us to Skype sleep until next weekend. If Skype doesn't work again, and I feel uncomfortable sleeping in my house alone, I'll leave for grandma and grandpa's place again.

I do need to get used to living by myself. What'll happen when I move out while Mason is still in the Marines? I'll have to get used to it quick. I'll have to learn to pay bills - become responsible.

But let's not worry about that now.
