CONGRATS TO OBAMA FOR WINNING ANOTHER TERM!!!!!!
I was stoked to hear that our President will be our president once again. I had an utterly dark fear of Romney becoming president since he didn't seem to know which side he'd be parting in... I mean, he'd go back and forth on subjects. Also, might I mention, it sounded like he was into WAR instead of taking out our troops and waiting on something a bit more critical. I didn't want Romney to become president and then all of a sudden, out of the blue, we're in a giant unnecessary war and Mason has to go into warfare instead of working on planes... That's not happening in MY books. Sorry.
Other than that, I had an alright day today. Except for my hair... I've been having bad hair days and it's not making me too happy... I love my hair! Don't get me wrong... But I keep having this issue where the sides of my head stick out with hair as if I'm Ace Ventura or Wolverine's daughter... I can put a BUTT load of gel in that area and it would either look freakishly flat OR continue to stand outward... So, I make due with it - whether I'm happy about it or not.
However, the one way I can drown out my sorrows or negativity is through music. My favorite radio stations that I BLAST are C89.5 and the newest one; 94.5. 89.5 is a dance station that plays upbeat music from a High School. That's right! A HS! It's been on the air for 40+ years! My mom even knows the station. Pretty crazy stuff, right? I think it's rad! I don't know much about the 94.5 station other than it plays '90s at 9 o'clock. That's an exuberant time in my life while driving down the highway! It also plays a lot of other music such as songs that our family would listen to as we wake boarded or zoomed through the water in our boat. It's a "Jams" radio station. I enjoy it very much.
Those radio stations brought me even MORE joy once noticing that the traffic was hardly traffic. Believe it or not folks, I rarely put on my brakes. It was a calm, fast drive to my college. Nobody was being a moron, everybody kept moving without doing under the speed limit; I was glad. And I'm sure it put smiles on other people's faces too.
School was fine. Marissa was in class finally. It's always nice to see her and chat with her. She's my chat buddy :) Italian was good. I was supposed to memorize some possessive adjectives or... something intense like that and I forgot to tonight... Uh-oh. Hopefully we don't have a mini quiz tomorrow! At least I'm wise enough to study during math or in my car while waiting for time to scurry by.
When I got home, I didn't have any homework to stress over. I dilly-dallied around the house, finding an SRT8 flag on the table (Mom says dad might add it to the flag pole... I was appalled because my dad wouldn't let me buy a "Don't tread on me" flag and let me hang that...?), prior to taking a walk. Afterwards, me and mom went to the at&t store to look for an iPhone5. I don't care about having an iPhone5... It's just a wider screen, skinnier, and a faster duel processor or... whatever the heck mom said. If the phone could bend or have you slide the keyboard onto a solid surface as a projected hologram, THEN I might consider buying it! Yet it isn't all that spectacular... So... no thanks. Of course, my mom wants it. She wants everything new. She's silly like that.
When we got home, we turned on politics. We watched Anderson Cooper (who is mighty fine, if you don't mind me saying) interview a few folks on how they think about Obama becoming president again and they all had their own opinions.
Suddenly... as they were going through the things that became different this term, they showed that Washington State and Colorado have LEGALIZED marijuana...
WHAT... THE... FRIKITY-FRACK PEOPLE?!?! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT THAT'S GOING TO DO?! OR ARE YOU PEOPLE TOO STONED TO FIGURE IT OUT?!?!?!?!
Ugh!!! THANKS everyone who voted Yes on legalizing it. NOW while I'm at McDonalds trying to order a Big Mac, the cashier will be wondering what's wrong with my FACE instead of taking my goddamn order... Jesus H. Christ!!! We could go into POVERTY because everyone who's a flat-out POTHEAD wants to come over to Colorado or Washington State and smoke their DOPE. Then we won't have enough JOBS or people will get laid OFF because they were SLACKING in their JOB... What about the situation with the drug testing, huh? Yea... what about that, huh???? Marijuana doesn't exit out of your system until after 28 days. Good job, you idiots. What a way to think about the economy and how people will be acting...
You know they're most likely going to be illegalizing it again once the government finds out how it's reacting to people. It's like, "DUH!!!! Heeeeellooooo???? Why did you make it illegal in the first place, imbeciles?!"
And didn't they say legalizing marijuana will give money to the schools??
Umm... Yea well... half of the students won't be in class because uhh...
THEY'LL BE TOO DOPED UP TO EVEN WALK!!!!!!
Sheesh!
Can't wait to tell Mason about this... He's going to give birth to a living, breathing CALF. I almost gave birth to one this afternoon when learning of the news on CNN!
I can see this world becoming like the movie Idiocracy... Where our future generations will believe that the electrolytes in Gatorade will help our plants grow... Right on. Sounds magnificent... I'll be looking forward to that...
NOT!
Anyway... On a happier note, I connected with an old friend of mine who I've been wanting to see for the last... couple of years. I found him on Facebook through his ex-girlfriend; another friend of mine. I should have guessed... Why am I so blind sometimes? Why???
Well, all that matters is that we are connected finally. I can't wait to see if we'd be able to hang out together! He's a really funny dude. Could make anyone laugh. Let's hope he won't send me a text of denial on hanging out like my other friend did!
