Day 58 of Florida

Right now I'm Skyping with Mason.

However, he's out cold. <3 Such a sweetie.

He "blames" my voice. He says it's soothing for him and he loves listening to me talk.

He falls asleep quickly when we snuggle, too. A few minutes earlier, he would have told me, "I'm not tired! Let's stay up for another hour!" *3 minutes of cuddling* And he's passed out on my chest.

I don't doubt he's working as hard as I am. Shoot, I have a MIDTERM tomorrow. I haven't even STUDIED! And I will be studying A LOT!! Nevertheless, if this Midterm isn't as fantastic as the other three, I can drop it. BUT! I still need to strive for 70% or more! I do NOT want to fail ASTRONOMY!!! That class is WAY too EPIC to be denied of another quarter!

I took my math quiz today. I got all of the difficult questions done... Then there was the easy question at the beginning of the quiz... I forgot the method for figuring out the formula... I couldn't believe it... The method was SO... EASY once I found out how to do it AFTER I turned in my quiz AND leaving that simple question blank!!! *major face-palm*

Why do I have to think everything is a strain?! Why can't I calm my intelligence and say, "Hey, this is easy. Why are you stressing? Just do the problem the way you learned it."

Oh well. I have a second chance. My teacher has a rule; after a quiz or test, if you have below 100%, you MUST correct your mistakes on a separate sheet of paper and then turn in your test/quiz again to get your points WITH the corrections stapled to it. If you don't do the corrections, you get a 0 for your grade.

ANYWAY!!! Another wet day.

What I don't get is how people on the road decide to become complete idiots during a rainy day. Don't they know the danger DOUBLES on the road when it rains?! I almost got into multiple accidents due to brainless imbeciles. One was from a motorcyclist who thought he was Chuck frickin' NORRIS! He was weaving through traffic, almost hitting my car by passing through the gap in between lanes... He even got close to ramming in the back of a semi that was changing lanes... Next was a moron who charged through a double yellow line, crossing three opposite lanes to try and enter a parking lot. Yet he had to slam on his brakes because pedestrians were in his way of the entrance. On the other hand, I had to slam on MY brakes because this CAR was in MY LANE trying to accomplish something he never should have suggested! The third idiot behind the wheel (that I can remember) was this person in a turn lane. There was a line in front of us and in back of me. The light apparently turned green and the cars in front of us began turning. However, the person in front of me wasn't moving forward. Thinking that there were a lot of cars in front of this person, I decided not to honk. But... disappointingly, this person was distracted by something and didn't realize the light had turned green... As this person stepped on the gas, she/he had to step on her/his brakes again since the light went back to being red... And I HATE that light... It takes AGES to turn green.

After all the trouble, I got my Subway sandwich and drove home safe and sound. I did have an appointment with Lori today, but I called her and canceled. Nothing to complain about! For now. Haha.
