I had a GREAT day until being scarred by the news of a YouTube video floating around on Facebook. My boyfriend didn't know what "not telling details" meant, so... I'll pretty much sum up what happens in the video. Firstly, I'd like to announce that the video has a picture of a woman wearing a pink shirt lying or sitting on the ground. I haven't seen the video, I haven't even heard of it, but that's the description Mason had given to me. The video is about a man murdering his wife. Please, to save your sanity, don't watch it.
Unfortunately, with the vague details Mason told me, my imagination has gravely scarred me without the process of watching the video.
If I have a grueling nightmare tonight, you all know why.
Before I get to the good parts about my day, I must ask; has anyone's iPhone deleted the Bookmarks you saved on Safari? Just... spontaneously?? As if there's a glitch?? I don't know what would cause that! The only explanation I have is me waking up, in a trance-like state, and deleting them...
Why would I do that, though???
The other thing that irked me today was my reading class program. This program guides your reading abilities, trying to have you read faster and faster in each lesson. Well! The level upped and the program added in a new FEATURE! It's called Pre-Reading. That crud will turn you puzzled in a matter of seconds... You couldn't read what was being shown on the screen! The text flew by like lightning! I was dumbfounded on what to do! So, when I got to the questions, most of the answers I chose were wrong because I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS READING...
I despise going from a champ to an average Jane...
Now, time for the good parts.
The sun was BEAMING! The weather was WARM! And during the 2 hours of not having class, my Astronomy buddy (Bryndis) and I hung out on campus. There was a voting convention happening. A DJ played upbeat music; there was free BBQed food; the place was PACKED; some people did a flash dance and then there was this cool African Arts club that came out, showing off their neat skills with these ancient-looking instruments and sweet acrobatic slow-motion fighting skills. I took some video. I'll see if I can upload it later.
Bryndis and I were accompanied by another girl, named Alex (who is in my math class and I talk to her every day *we sit next to each other*) She stayed with us until her English class began. Next, we were accompanied by Bryndis's friend, Francesca. She stayed with us the entire time before Astronomy started. We had fun! We got a bit burnt, though. But, hey, it was worth it!
I just wish the mood had stayed...
